Greenhaired elf woman by SpoonfishLee Greenhaired elf woman by SpoonfishLee
A project focused on skin practice.  I used two brushes for this one: Hard Round brush (with pressure) and a small pencil-like brush for individual hairs and small hue changes. They're both in my downloadable set here at deviantArt :)

Timelapse video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNsfOB…

Enjoy! :la:

Honestly my favorite piece of art, ever. This is amazing and gives me new ideas each time I look at it. Simple, yet beautiful.

Really well done Lee! The skin looks great! :D It's really cool how the small amounts of green in the face makes it look like her veins; nice touch. ;)

I'm surprised that no one commented about this (and realize it's a little weird I do), but NICE NOSE! I mean, we often see elves with sharp and pointy noses, this rounded nose really caught my attention (in a good way). Also the colors are great. Drag0n-Princess is right, these details like skin under the hair are not only uncommon, but also adds a lot to the painting, giving us a sense of extra volume and perspective to the hair. Great job!

Wow, that's a great compliment, thanks :)

There's a person here on dA who's nose I took inspiration from!
